Viewing, Editing & Deleting Logbook Emails

Are you sending out a logbook email that you no longer want to use? Do you need to edit a scheduled email to add new users?

To view a scheduled logbook email, please complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Logbook
- Use the Envelope Icon to open email setup

To view a scheduled logbook email, please complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Logbook
- Use the Envelope Icon to open email setup
The Logbook Emails setup allows the user to view, edit or discard a scheduled daily email.
To edit an email, complete the following steps:
- Click on the email from the selection list located to the left of the email configuration page.
- To edit the Recipients or Logbook Sections, simply select or deselect the users or logbook sections to add or remove them from the scheduled email.
- The drop menu won't scroll indefinitely so if you are missing users, just begin typing their name to jump ahead
- Once you have finished your changes, click Save at the bottom of the page. Your scheduled logbook email should reflect the changes made the following day.
Can I change my logbook email to SDLW instead of SDLY?
Yes!
Your logbook can easily be toggled over to Same Day Last Week instead of Same Day Last Year in your Logbook Email Settings. Navigate to Logbook, then click the envelope icon and select Manage Emails, make the adjustment in the email setup box. Only the owner of the logbook email (user who set it up) can make this adjustment:
Deleting Scheduled Logbook Emails
In order to delete a scheduled logbook email, you must first log into Avero and navigate to Logbook > Manage Emails allows the user to view, edit or discard a scheduled daily email.
To delete a scheduled logbook email, complete the following steps:
- Click on the email from the selection list located to the left of the email configuration page.
- To stop a scheduled email from sending and to delete it, click the trash can button located on the right side of the email toolbar header.
- Once you have finished your changes, click Save at the bottom of the page. Your scheduled logbook email should reflect the changes made the following day.
Who can edit a Logbook email?
To find out who is the creator of the report, scroll to the bottom of a recently received emailed report, the creator is listed in the footer, under Avero's address.
When you Remove Business Access from a user, it will also remove them from emailed reports distribution lists and disable any automated reports they have set up. If this is the case, set the report up again under a current user.
