The FCM Mobile application allows you to view and take inventory. For Placing Orders or Building Recipes, please log into Avero on the web.
It is important to take inventories regularly to be sure your Inventory Value report, COGS report, and suggested purchase can appear the most correct at any given time. This can also assist in managing portion control or theft that is happening in your business.
FCM Mobile allows you to start two different types of inventory tasks:
1. Full Count - This will generate a list of all active products within your Product List. Users will count every item before finishing.
2. Class Count - This type asks you which Product Class(es) you would like to count. So, if you just want to count Beer, Liquor and Wine, this is the count type for you.
Taking Inventory with FCM Mobile:
Full and Class Count inventories can be started right from the Avero FCM Mobile app. If you haven't already, go to your app store and download the Avero FCM Mobile app. You'll use the same username and password that you use to log into Avero on the web and our Avero mobile application. Once you've signed in, click Start New Inventory Count.
From there, choose which count type you would like to complete.
Then, start taking inventory. Your Storage Areas will be listed across the top of the screen with a view of products that have already been counted over the total number of products in that storage area.
As you make your way through your inventory, you can count by any unit defined in the product details of each product. When you click into a product to enter the value you will see the keyboard below.
To move between product within your count, click the Next button to move to the next product on your worksheet. Once you have completed your count, click Complete Count to verify your count. You will be asked to confirm any products that have not yet been counted.
Here, you can input a count for any products you may have missed, or leave them with a value of 0.
Note: submitting your count with uncounted products means that you're submitting those products with a count of 0. |
Once you've confirmed your items, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Confirm All to submit your count. Upon hitting Confirm All, the task will submit and can now be viewed as a completed count on mobile or web!
