Using Attributes and Tags
Attributes and Tags are fully customizable and will help you organize all of the businesses within your enterprise, into distinct groups based on similar characteristics.
Example: if a "Region" attribute is selected, then the next step would be to select the specific region you want to analyze. Once selected, the businesses with that pertain to that specific region will group together. Tags will then extract businesses from that grouping.

How are sales by hour calculated? When a check is opened or closed?
For our hourly sales information, we pull in what time each item is rung into the POS and that way the sales detail is as close to real-time as possible and sidesteps any operational challenges such as checks being kept open until the end of service.
Check Data: Check information such as Check Count, Average Check Count, etc are based on Check Open times. Think of it as when a check is added to your business day.
Sales Data: For the majority of POS systems, sales data relating to the individual items such as Gross Sales, Item Qty, Avg Net Sales, % Total Net Sales, etc is all based on transaction time, or the time that change was made in the system. So if a server has a check that stays open all day the sales will be reflected at the time the items were ordered/rung and not when that entire all day check is closed.
The following POS systems only provide the Check Open Time for item transactions, so sales will only be listed at the time the check was opened:
- Aldelo,
- Infogenesis (on-premise and cloud),
- Lightspeed,
- Micros Simphony On-Premise,
- PosiTouch,
- Squirrel POS.
The following POS systems only provide the Check Close Time for item transactions, so sales will only be listed at the time the check was closed:
