Avero has many reports available and each one can be configured to your needs to work for your unique situation. In this guide, we suggest the reports most valuable to start with, based on your position and concern.

Use Case: Compare Daily, WTD, MTD, and YTD gross sales figures to monitor year-over-year performance

Item Sales as a Trend Report
Use Case: Analyze weekly sales of food/beverage for purchasing and inventory control
Format & Frequency: Emailed in Excel Format Weekly on days ordering takes place
Date Range: Recommended 3 separate reports: Trend Last 7 Weeks, Last 7 Weekday Blocks, Last 7 Weekend Blocks.
Note: Individual days of the week can also be trended out to identify best selling items for specific days (i.e. last seven Sundays to identify popular brunch items)
How to Run: Sales Tab --> Item Sales --> Select Business --> Select Date – Trend: Last 7 Weeks, 7 Weekday Blocks, 7 Weekend Blocks (must set each one, run, return to set the next) --> Select Revenue Center: User’s Discretion --> Select Meal Period: User’s Discretion --> Select Category Filter-Global: Select all --> Metrics: Item Qty --> Hit GO
Item Sales as a Range Report
Use Case: Use the Item Sales Report in conjunction with cost information to ensure that the FOH team is driving sales of profitable items
Format & Frequency: Emailed in Excel format the 1st of every Month
Date Range: MTD
How to Run: Sales Tab --> Item Sales --> Select Business --> Select Date – Range: MTD -->Select Revenue Center: User’s Discretion --> Select Meal Period: User’s Discretion --> Select Category Filter-Global: Select all --> Hit GO
Use Case: Forecast Prep and Par levels of individual items by day
Format & Frequency: Log into Avero daily, run for same day last week
Date Range: Same Day Last Week (i.e. if today is Friday, Jan. 14th, select Date: Friday, January 7th to view sales qty for the last 5 Fridays)
