Run a Report
Navigate using the navigation pane on the left to the area of Avero you need - Sales, Labor, Service, etc. Use the Report Generator to make selections on the data and Metrics to include in your report. Remember to use Dynamic Date Ranges (Yesterday, Month-to-Date, YTD, WTD, etc) so that the report will always be current. A report set for a specific date or date range will always include data for those dates, and will not roll over into a new month or year.
Once you are looking at the report you want to save, follow the instructions below.
Save a Report
Saving a report is an easy way to use it again in the future. You can run the report with one click by visiting your Saved Reports tab at the top of your Avero screen.
- To Save a Report, click the Save Icon on the top right of the report.
- This will open a dialogue box where you will say where to save the report and set preferences.
- Give your Report a name & description.
- Select a folder in which to save the report. Choosing Existing allows you to look through the folders that have already been created and select an appropriate one. You can also Create a New Folder to store your report in, and simply select the parent folder.
- Give your Report a name & description.
- Success message appears!

Who Can See My Reports?
A report in your My Reports folder, or any folder within that parent folder, is only visible to you (the user who saved the report). Do not save reports to this folder if you want to share them easily with team members.
A report in the Shared Reports folder will be available to everyone at that business. Once saved, any user with access to the business can see and run this report with one click. If a report with multiple businesses is saved in the Shared Reports folder, it will be visible to the users of every business included in the report, however, a user accessing the report will only see data for the businesses they have access to.
You can create nested folders to house a variety of reports and Saved Reports are all searchable. The current delivery schedule of all reports is displayed in the description box and Saved Reports can be sorted by email delivery schedule as well.
The User who saved the report is also visible in Shared Reports, as is the delivery schedule of all automated reports.
Can I delete old or unused folders?
Folder creation and nested folders are available, but folders cannot be deleted. You can delete reports from within folders by using the Trashcan icon.
Schedule a Report to Run & Deliver Automatically
Scheduling a report is fast and simple. It can be done directly from the report - See Automating Email Reports for more info.
To Schedule delivery of a report you have saved, go to your Saved Reports tab and select the folder containing the report. When you see the report you want to schedule, click the Envelope Icon and complete the dialogue box to schedule the report. You will see the current schedule of any saved reports in the description box, and can sort and search by current delivery schedule.
Emailed reports can go to a list of individual users or an entire team of users, but note that there is a limit of 50 recipients for any emailed report.
Help! I Don't See My Saved Report!
Common Resolutions to issues encountered with Saved Reports.
Folder Expansion
The blue text turns black & bold when a folder is selected. Is the folder you want black? Selecting a folder does not automatically expand all of its sub-folders so if your folder appears empty, click the plus sign next to the folder name to make sure it is expanded to reveal all contents.
Business Access
A user can only see the data from businesses they have access to. If someone has created a report for multiple businesses a user at a single business will still be able to view the report, but only the data from their store. If you aren't able to see the report, or some of the data is missing, check that you have access to the included businesses. If you need access, contact your business's Admin User, and they can edit access if needed. See User Management for more information.
