How do I connect my data to Avero?
Avero has over 60 POS integrations, and there are three main types:
-
On-Premise
- This means you have a server on-site that hosts your POS, for these systems Avero's data extractor is locally installed and runs a daily extraction, which then compresses, encrypts, and transmits your data to Avero.
- What you need to do: Prepare your system to allow the installation of Avero's software, and then either install the software (on-demand for most systems) or schedule an appointment with an Avero technician to install (select systems only).
-
Export
- This means your POS provider prepares and sends a daily export to Avero. Avero is dependent on your POS provider to create and send this export daily, and if you are ever missing data, you'll need to request your POS provider send the missing data.
- What you need to do: Contact your POS provider to request the export (it's your data, so the request has to come from you!) and confirm the export with Avero, some systems may require you to provide Avero with credentials to retrieve the export.
-
Cloud
- This means your POS is operated by your vendor in the Cloud and Avero connects directly to the POS provider to extract data. These are usually the easiest to install!
- What you need to do: You'll activate access for Avero in your cloud POS account and confirm the details with Avero, then we will connect and pull your data.
For all systems, live customer data must already be present in your system for us to verify your installation. To find the specific steps your your system visit our list of *Avero POS Integrations and select your system from the list.
